We sell a wide range of re-used, donated furniture and household items, including sofas, tables, chairs, beds, wardrobes, fridges, freezers, washing machines, TVs, mirrors, lamps, china and bric-a-brac – you’ll find items for every room in the house! We also sell books, DVDs, CDs, laptop computers, refurbished bicycles, garden furniture and, in the spring/summer months, flowers, fruit and vegetables grown at our Growing 2gether project.

We have two Community Furniture Projects – in Newbury (Bone Lane) and Basingstoke (Joule Road). Both are well-established – CFP Newbury was set up in 2000 and CFP Basingstoke was set up in 2004.
Our opening hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Saturday. We are open to everyone but we operate a ‘2-tier’ price system, where most items for those on benefits and pensions are 30% cheaper.
Money raised in our furniture shops is used to help disadvantaged people in our local communities, including adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health problems and young people not in mainstream education. You can find out more about our work on the Training and Community Support, Growing 2gether and Pulling Together pages of our website.

We have been shortlisted for Greenham Common Trust’s Pitch to the Panel event, to be held at the Corn Exchange on 9 November 2017. We are pitching for funds to construct a mezzanine floor in the furniture shop to expand the retail space. This will enable us to generate more income to fund our services for the most vulnerable members of our community.
For every vote received online by 7 November, the Trust will donate an additional £1 to our project.
